Pearson's Biology for the IB Diploma and Oxford's IB Biology Course Book are the two most used, both matched to the current 2025 four-theme structure. Neither is perfect — Pearson explains mechanisms more clearly, Oxford has stronger exam-style questions — so borrow one from school and pair it with a question bank rather than buying both.
