How to Revise for IB Maths in Four Weeks

Week one: map the syllabus

Start by listing every topic you are examined on, then mark each one green, amber or red. Do not start with the topics you enjoy — start with the amber ones, because those move fastest.

  • List the topics
  • Rate each one
  • Book the amber ones into week two
  • Week two: drill the amber topics

Short, frequent sessions beat one long one. Forty minutes on one subtopic, then a break, is worth more than three unfocused hours.
