Delivery and Access Policy

What you receive

RevisionPrep supplies digital educational content only — a question bank, mark schemes, lesson notes and mock papers, delivered online through revisionprep.com and our applications. No physical goods are sold, and nothing is dispatched, couriered or posted to you. There are no shipping charges.

When access begins

Access is activated automatically as soon as your payment is confirmed by our payment provider. This is normally within a few minutes of checkout, and in any event within one hour.

No separate delivery step is required. Your purchased content appears in your account the next time you sign in or refresh the page.

Confirmation

An order confirmation, with your invoice and a summary of what you have purchased, is sent to the email address registered on your account at the time of activation. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder before contacting us — automated mail is sometimes filtered.

How long access lasts

Unless the checkout page states otherwise, access runs for 12 months from the date of purchase and then expires automatically. Plans do not renew automatically and no further charge is taken. Expiry is not a cancellation by us and does not give rise to a refund of unused time.

What you need at your end

A device with a current version of a mainstream web browser and a working internet connection. Content is delivered online and is not supplied for offline installation or bulk download. We do not warrant that content will display identically on every device, browser or assistive technology; see the Errors, omissions and corrections clause of our Terms of Service.

If access does not arrive

If your payment has been debited but access has not appeared within one hour, email [email protected] with your order reference and the email address on your account. We will either activate access or refund the amount within 3 working days.

Interruptions, outages and events beyond our control

Access is delivered over the internet and depends on systems that are not wholly within our control, including our hosting and content delivery providers, our payment and email providers, the public internet, your own device, browser, network, and any firewall or content filter operated by your school or internet service provider.

We therefore do not warrant that the Service will be available continuously, uninterrupted, secure or free from error, and we give no uptime guarantee to individual subscribers. Temporary unavailability is not a failure to deliver and does not of itself entitle you to a refund, a credit, or compensation of any kind.

Planned maintenance

We carry out maintenance and upgrades as needed, and aim to schedule anything disruptive outside peak revision periods and to give advance notice on the site where practicable. Short maintenance windows are a normal part of the Service.

Events beyond our control

We are not liable for any failure or delay in delivering access caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including failure or degradation of a third-party provider, network or power failure, denial-of-service or other cyber attack, data centre incident, malicious code, epidemic, natural disaster, fire, flood, war, civil disturbance, strike, sanctions, or any act, order, restriction or direction of a government or regulator, including any suspension or blocking of the Service or of payment channels.

Where an outage is prolonged

Where a systemic failure prevents you from accessing a substantial part of the content you have paid for, continuously and for more than 72 hours, we will on request extend your access period, at no charge, by a period at least equal to the period of unavailability. Extension of the access period is your sole and exclusive remedy for unavailability of the Service, and applies in place of any refund.

Where a systemic failure makes the Service substantially unusable for more than 30 consecutive days and we are unable to restore it, we will refund a fair proportion of the fee for the unexpired part of your access period.

This clause does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Errors within the content itself, as distinct from unavailability of the Service, are dealt with in the Errors, omissions and corrections clause of our Terms of Service.

Where we deliver

Access is available worldwide wherever our Service is lawfully accessible. We do not restrict delivery by country, but you are responsible for complying with the laws of the place from which you access the Service.

Cancellation and refunds

Because delivery is immediate, cancellation and refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which offers a 3-day window subject to a small number of conditions and an examination-period blackout.
