Rotational symmetry is the quiet engine behind countless designs we see every day, from turbine blades to company logos. For a figure with rotational symmetry of order 3, that means the design repeats itself three times within a full 360° turn, so the minimum angle of rotation is simply one-third of that full circle — expressed as 360° ÷ 3.
